The object of this oak sunburst gable conservatory in Beckenham, South London, was to create a period conservatory design with the warm appearance of an oak interior and traditional cast iron monkey tail handles, but to include high specification blue-tint Celcius solar control glass to the roof and clear solar control glass to the frames, to ensure the conservatory was not too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter.
